And here they are!! My Christmas version of the felt coasters.. in this set I've gone for a more contemporary Christmas palette of blue and white, stitched together with silvery blue thread. A Scandi-themed red and white version are in the pipeline.... and maybe a red and green one stitched with gold thread, for a more traditional look..
The most difficult part with the making of these coasters, as with most projects, lies in actually cutting the design to be stitched.
I will be uploading the templates for the designs I use here, but any design is fine.. if you have very good scissors, you could cut your felt in the manner of the paper snowflakes we used to make as children. Don't try it if your scissors aren't sharp enough or too big...like mine. You will only end up ruining your design.
