RIP Alan Henning

My heart goes out to the family of Alan Henning... he has been called a 'martyr', and in a sense he is. A martyr killed to satisfy the bloodlust of a bunch of power-hungry people.
Honestly, the mind boggles. A civilian, an aid worker...this is not a soldier, a journalist..
It is beyond all reasoning. There is no logic to this murderous wave. There is no sense, no religion, no humanity...all that is left is a deep sense of anger....how dare they kill someone who was merely aiding the casualties of war??
